  2. PAINTERS:
  3.         With this option the system will unfold a list of painters
  4.         ordered by name; each line also contains their country of
  5.         birth, the century of their activity and the pictorial
  6.         current to which they belong.
  7.         Then you will have access to a brief biography, together
  8.         with the principal works and to their image.
  9.         To change or select the options of the system you will be
  10.         able to use the keyboard (PgUp, PgDn, Home, End, Esc, Enter,
  11.         Arrows) or the mouse.

  13. SELECTION:
  14.         You will be able to select the painters by:
  15.            NAME:  With < enter > in the box corresponding to the
  16.                   first letter of their last name.
  17.            CENTURY:  With < enter > in the box corresponding to the
  18.                      century in which their work is developed.
  19.            TYPE:  With < enter > in the box corresponding to the
  20.                   pictorial school to which they belonged.
  21.            COUNTRY:  With < enter > in the box corresponding
  22.                      to their native country.
  23. CLASSIFICATION:
  24.            Whichever your selection, the painters will appear in
  25.            alphabetical order.
  26.            In order to achieve an efficient location we have separated
  27.            the compound last names. For example, Leonardo da Vinci
  28.            will appear as Vinci Leonardo da; Jan van Eyck as Eyck
  29.            Jan van; etc.

  31. SCREENS:
  32.            Each screen is split into 3 parts.
  33.            RETURN:  Selecting this option you will return to
  34.                     main menu.
  35.            PAINTERS: The list of painters with their principal data.
  36.                      The symbol  indicates that there is more
  37.                      information.
  38.                      The symbol  indicates that there are table
  39.                      images.
  40.                      By selecting a painter of this list will appear
  41.                      the biography and the works.
  42.            CONTINUE: Selecting this option you will be shown
  43.                      the next list of painters according to
  44.                      the selection made.

  46. BIOGRAPHY AND WORK:
  47.            PRINTS:  Selecting this option a printed list of
  48.                     biographies and tables will be made.
  49.            TABLES:  The symbol  indicates that there is an
  50.                     image of the table.
  51.            EXIT:  With the key Esc you will return to the
  52.                   previous screen.

  54. IMAGES:  If your PC includes a Sound Blaster sound card,
  55.          together with the image you will listen to a digitalized
  56.          musical theme.
  57.          The emission of sound can be eliminated by entering the
  58.          system with the command: BEGIN OFF.
  59.          Pressing the key Z, a zoom of the upper part of the image
  60.          will be progressively accomplished up to 3 times (only in
  61.          VGA and SVGA plates).
  62.          Pressing any other key you will return to the previous screen.
